Someone is Waiting For You

Someone is Waiting for You.
Slow Down. Pay Attention. Arrive Safely

A powerful new statewide campaign is reminding drivers of something deeply personal: every trip matters—because someone is waiting for you to arrive safely.

In recognition of Distracted Driving Awareness Month, the “Someone Is Waiting for You” campaign launches across Minnesota with a simple but urgent message: slow down and pay attention. Through emotionally driven storytelling and timely reminders, the campaign reaches drivers encouraging safer choices behind the wheel.

Distracted driving and excessive speed continue to take a serious toll on Minnesota roadways, contributing to preventable crashes, injuries, and loss of life each year. While most drivers know these behaviors are dangerous, many still take the risk.

This campaign brings the focus back to what truly matters.

Before you start your next trip, take a moment to ask yourself:
Who is waiting for you?

Because one decision—to slow down, to stay focused—can make all the difference.

Drive Safer. Arrive Safely.

• Silence distractions before you drive.
• Set your route and music ahead of time.
• Follow speed limits and adjust for conditions.
• Keep your eyes on the road and your mind on driving.

Someone is waiting for you. Make sure you get there.
